The Art of Batik
Batik is a traditional textile art in which images are created by applying wax-type material to guide layers of dye.
Each batik piece is painted directly onto silk by hand — no prints, no repetitions.
Artisan Printed Silk
Each printed scarf begins as an artwork, created using mixed media techniques on paper.
Printing allows silk to preserve the fluid colours and fine details of the original painting.
My ethos
I believe the intimate parts of ourselves — the playful, the strange, the passionate, the rebellious — can stay close to us even when life requires seriousness and composure.
Silk can absorb these feelings and transform them into something ethereal, becoming a soft, intimate extension of the person who wears it.
